Kale chips are so delicious and the most brilliant thing to snack on if you are going the healthy route. They are so addicting and in my opinion, taste way better than regular potato chips. They come out super flavorful. Kevin and I will eat them until bowl is licked clean. You can totally season them in any way you want to. Sometimes I will use salt and pepper or some Lawry’s seasoning salt. The different ways to make them are endless.
With the oven preheated to 350°F, I start by taking a bundle of washed kale. I remove the stems and tear the leaves into bite sized chip pieces. Then, I dry them COMPLETELY with paper towels. It is really important to make sure they are all the way dried. It will not come out crispy if there is any water on it.
After you’ve made sure it is dry, you are going to set them on a nonstick baking sheet. Drizzle the kale with olive oil.
With your hands, mix the kale around until it is completely and evenly coated in the olive oil. Try your best not to over lap the kale pieces, you want them to be evenly baked.
Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. When they are done, take them out and season them. This time around I used Lawry’s Chili & Garlic seasoning. I prefer to season them once they are done. If I season them before, the kale absorbs the salt and it makes them super salty. So I just sprinkle some on at the end, then throw them in a bowl and enjoy!
