Sternewirth + Cured At Pearl

It was a Thursday evening,  Kevin and I had a scheduled Yelp Elite event. He got caught up at work and had to stay late. With traffic and all, it looked like we were going to be super DUPER late. So we just kept driving to head down to The Pearl Brewery. After about 30 to 40 minutes in San Antonio traffic, we made it. We parked and walked around to decide where we were gonna have dinner. A Thursday night date is what it turned into and it was awesome! Continue reading “Sternewirth + Cured At Pearl”

NOLA Brunch & Beignets

So, having a kid you forget to enjoy the simple things in life because you’re so busy.  Kevin and I decided to go to breakfast as a family one morning since it had been a while.  I pulled up my bookmarks and we chose NOLA Brunch and Beignets.  The menu sounded superb.  The sound of New Orleans cuisine in San Antonio was the perfect thing to fill our hungry bellies.

Saturday Brunch At Max’s Wine Dive

It had been over four years since Kevin and I indulged into some of Max’s Wine Dive’s delicious pan borracho.  Unfortunately, arriving at around 3 o’clock on a Saturday, Max’s only offers items from their brunch menu, so no drunk bread.  Brunch ends at 4.  Luckily for us, the brunch menu consisted of so many delicious things.  It took us forever to decide what we wanted.  Max’s Wine Dive is a cool wine bar that serves gourmet food with a hip twist.  It is located behind the Quarry Market. A Date With The Sisters At Golden Wok

For over 40 years now, Golden Wok has remained one of the best Chinese food destinations in San Antonio.  It is known for its traditional homemade dim sum selection, which is offered every Sunday.  Go early, because a crowd floods out the door for it.  Aside from the famous dim sum, they offer some of the best specials and a create-your-own stir fry bar with endless ingredients to choose from.  Since this is one of Pita’s favorite places, she thought we could all together and have a sister-time lunch date here.
